Acapulco Wedding

Miguel and Kathleen started their fairy tale romance in D.C. at grad school. They had 150 family and friends join them in Acapulco Mexico for this gorgeous wedding. It was in the 30's and raining when I flew out Friday morning, arriving in Acapulco where it is in the mid 80's and sunny. Now thats a way to spend your January! Here is their album Pre Design.
Taken at about 7:30 am on the "big day"! What a gorgeous setting
Kathleen was suprisingly calm and collected all day!
What beautiful eyes for a beautiful bride
Boquet to be "tossed" along with bridesmaid's flowers

This photo was actually taken from someone parking spot, nice view to come home too eh?

First time they met eyes, misty moment

Gorgeous traditional Catholic service in both spanish and english

Just enough light for some sunset photos
I think they call that "Acapulco Gold"

Reception and dinner on the beach

It was a beautiful evening and an amazing time had by all

Commemorative bottles of tequila on all of the tables

A special thanks to Kathleen and Miguel for having me be a part of this awesome wedding. I could not wait to get home and put some of my favorite images up for all to see.

These are exquisite photos. I've seen a lot of wedding photos, but never any that reflect the beauty of the surroundings so well and that show such warmth and realness from the bride, groom, and guests. They are treasures that will make for wonderful fond memories!
