Mary's Bridals

We shot Mary's bridal portraits back in November at Vista on Seward Hill. Here are a few of my favorites. Their wedding was this past Saturday, so I should have their wedding on my blog in the next few weeks!

Photographing Fine Art

The first three paintings are originals by Scott Ellis. This first image of Tom Waits attracts a ton of attention at Scott's new shop, now it will be available to hang on your wall too. Scott and Zach Nelligan will be displaying and selling reproductions of these originals at the Star of Texas Tattoo Convention this coming weekend. If there are any left afterwards I am sure they will be available at Triple Crown. If skin illustrations are your kind of thing, you really should talk to Scott and Zach. They are both amazing artists as well as just plain nice guys!

Early Christmas Present for me!

After some recent frustrations with my PC I decided to convert over to Mac. Unfortunately this means all new software which isn't cheap. Nothing like starting the new year in debt. Now I just need to learn how to use this monster! Its screaming fast and should speed up my wedding workflow big time!

In the mean time I will be sitting here learning to speak Mac!

Cash for Christmas

I was fortunate enough to provide Amy and Dan with some maternity pictures just about a week before their son Cash was born. I was invited back to capture a new "family" photo and create some images for their birth announcement.

Birth announcements I designed for the happy couple. What a great Christmas present!

LaShelle and Jeremy

LaShelle and Jeremy had their wedding and reception at The Winfield Inn. This was our first time to being here. This property is HUGE! Their Coordinator was Kristin Lloyd, she made sure the wedding and reception were flawless. Always a pleasure to shoot a wedding with a professional wedding coordinator. The officiant was Bonnie Connor, which brought me back to the very first wedding I shot (over 4 yrs ago). Nick Classon with Bagpipes for all Occasions was there to provide the Irish touch. Cake by The Sweet Stuff, DJ services by McKinney Productions. Beautiful flowers by Graceful Design (Grace Hardin). Hair - At The Studio (Amy Duran), makeup Pamela's Beauty Secrets (MacKenzie). We were fortunate enough to have perfect weather and beautiful light to work with. This happy couple was so much fun to photograph. Please take a look at their wedding album.

Oh my gosh Dave -- the pictures are FAN-TAS-TIC!!!!! We went through the pictures today when I got home and pretty much every one of our favorite pictures you put in the album!!!! We can't thank you enough for everything and will gladly refer you to anyone we know. If you ever need a reference, please put us at the top of your list. :-)

Thank you so much for everything!!!!

Alli & Barry's Engagment Session

Alli and Barry are getting married in June in Grapevine, TX. Fortunate for me they are both students at UT. We met down at Zilker Park for their engagment session. They were both so much fun to shoot, just cutting up and having fun the entire time. I took over 200 images and trying to pick 10 of my favorites was so hard. I can only imagine that their wedding will be more of the same. FUN!

Erin and Clay

Erin and Clay had their ceremony and reception at Kali Kate. Cindy really knows how to assure things run smoothly. She and her crew were on point all day and evening. Their florist was The Flower Studio, and their arrangements were unique and beautiful. My favorite part of the evening was Erin and Clay's choice of entertainment, they had The Pictures perform. I was blown away by how good they were. It did not matter what genre of music they performed, all of it was spot on! They had everyone shakin it all night long! I have a new "first" for wedding albums. Erin and Clay will have my largest album yet (75 pages). Take a look at it and let me know what you think. Erin and Clay's Album. I still have to put together their album cover, so there is actually more to come.

Amy and Dan + 1

Amy and her husband Dan are expecting their first child any day now. Amy is an amazing photographer so I was a little nervous about doing her maternity portraits. Hopefully she is pleased because I doubt there will be much time to re-shoot this one! Thanks Amy and Dan!
